We certainly have a lot of fun at our tournaments, but we'd like
to direct some of this energy toward something meaningful too.
Beginning in August 2008 we plan to sponsor
a child in Africa.
Each person who wishes may donate to this effort. If we can
collectively donate about $18 per tournament, our Tournament can help to
provide clean water, health care and educational support for a needy
child in Africa. We will be able to write letters and in turn
our friend will write to us and send photos.
This is not a big commitment - if everybody just donates $5 every tournament we'll be able to sponsor 6 children. Please donate - it's only $5. This is a small sacrifice for us, but it can change the lives of these precious kids.
We are very excited about this opportunity and we hope that everyone will want to participate. We found someone locally who travels to an orphanage in Africa and knows how to allocate the money so it actually reaches the children.
