RYAN BRUNS click for stats |
Ryan was the first ever LHT Champion, posting 2 shutouts in that first contest. |
|
Forever in the history of Lord Hubbard's Cup will be the
name Ryan MK Bruns etched in the first spot of its base.
Ryan's only dream before May 2005 was to drink from the cup
as it's Champion and he accomplished it with ease. In our
first tournament it took several games before anyone could
even score on Ryan... let alone make it a close game. In
fact the only close game that he did have was the final...
but it was still a decisive victory. The Cup was displayed
proudly for 6 months in his care. |

| His defensemen are extremely dangerous. Ryan usually
scores more goals with his defenders than other people score with their
offense. His skillful attack from the back line won him the
John Musters - Most Productive Defense Award twice. The only
person to accomplish that extraordinary feat. Ryan is one of the few players to have mastered the "wrap-around" pass from either winger to his Center. With this dangerous pass, he can wield a surprise attack when you think you have every other angle covered. None should count him out of the doubles tournament either. He and his crazy wife Anne have previously placed 3rd and 2nd in doubles tournament action. Though they haven't yet been able to hoist the Champions' Puck, they are always the team to beat. A master at both games, Ryan understands not only the fundamentals, but the deep secret skills associated with table hockey. He looks to be the first competitor to drink twice from Lord Hubbard's Cup. |
